These are sections though the Surveyor’s House and are taken at ½” = 1’. This house was initially intended for use by two inhabitants; one an astronomer and the other a geographer. The astronomer inhabited the northeastern section of the site and the geographer inhabited the southwestern region. The inhabitants never shared information and could only survey each others activity underneath the ground via connecting pathways. The program was later adjusted so that the inhabitants had a means of connection on the ground and could meet in common areas. The drawings were composed using graphite powder and charcoal. The following three drawings are horizontal plan cuts.
